Three years ago, our founder Susan was deeply moved by a red-and-black plaid napkin at a small café in the English countryside – that napkin wasn’t just for wiping hands; it was the visual soul of the entire afternoon tea.
Back home, she found that most printed paper napkins on the market either faded, were tissue-thin, or had tacky patterns. So she assembled a team of engineers with 15 years of flexo-printing experience and virgin pulp paper experts. After 18 months, they cracked the technical challenge of “high-fastness water-based ink + 3-ply embossed strength". In 2023, our first “non-fading plaid tissue" was born. To date, we have sold over 20 million packs, serving 30,000+ households and 2,000+ cafés.
